To all our family, friends and colleagues in the areas affected by Monday’s seismic events, we hope you and your families are safe and well - our thoughts are with you.

An event of this magnitude is a timely reminder to building owners that securing non-structural elements is essential. In terms of life preservation, maintaining egress routes out of buildings, reducing post seismic event costs and ensuring quality tenancies. We have been in contact with our freight team and using the Lewis Pass we can have goods shipped to South Island destinations. An allowance of 7 – 8 days needs to be made – so please plan ahead.

There are aftershocks continuing and this is a nerve racking and a down right uncomfortable time, so please, let’s look after each other. This too will pass.
